Anatomy of Your Umbrella
- Upon receiving your new Droplit umbrella, take a moment to inspect the umbrella for any damage. If the umbrella frame looks damaged, do not open the umbrella.
- Properly dispose of any packaging material your Droplit umbrella may arrive in. Packaging material is not a toy and may pose serious risks of injuries to children, pets and people.
Battery Installation
- Twist the cap to unlock and remove from handle
- Slide out the battery case
- Insert 3 AAA batteries into the battery case. Make sure batteries are properly aligned with the positive (+) and negative (-) indicators
- Reinsert the battery case into the handle
- Place cap on handle and twist to close. Make sure cap is securely fastened.
Umbrella Opening
- Undo the closing strap of the umbrella
- Ensure there is sufficient free space around before opening. Take care as the umbrella will open rapidly and may cause injury if opened too close to yourself or others.
- Point the umbrella away from yourself and press the Open On/Off Button once to open
- The LED light should turn on automatically upon opening. Press the Open On/Off Button again to toggle the LED light on and off.
Umbrella Closing
- To close the umbrella, hold the umbrella handle with one hand while pulling down the runner with your other hand. Pull until the runner
- locks shut.
- Secure the umbrella with the closing strap.
- Before closing umbrella, make sure the umbrella is dry. Closing and storing a wet umbrella may negatively impact the useful life of the umbrella.
Umbrella & Battery Care
The Droplit LED umbrella is water resistant. The battery casing of the umbrella can repel and withstand water from normal use. It is not waterproof. In the event you flood or submerge the battery casing completely underwater, you should open the casing, remove the batteries and let the casing completely dry out.
